He started his career in 2003 in San Diego, CA, apprenticing with 

Kent 'The Dixie Devil' Keaton at Body Art Tattoo. Upon moving 

back to the East Coast, Matt then worked for the legendary 

J.D. Crowe at Ancient Art Tattoo in Chesapeake, VA, for 4 1/2 years. 

From there, he spent 14 years at Folk City Tattoo in Suffolk, VA. 

He looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality custom tattoo 

work to his dedicated clientele of Hampton Roads as he begins a new 

adventure opening his own tattoo studio in Carrollton, Virginia.
